Banff Centre campus has its annual igloo!

Hello,

Last Sunday/15 we've built an igloo on campus again, though this time in a very trafficked area that should really increase visitation. I've again selected a spot almost totally protected from the sun, and with good protection from wind though the warm wind out of the West will remain an issue.

Anyone that walks to work, to the campus exercise facility or to a performance will walk within meters of it!

This is the 9' model again. I run with this as I figure it is the largest model that will do well when bad weather comes. Perhaps next season I'll try the 11' again if the wind-deflecting snow walls prove themselves well.
