I always enjoy going past the cliffs right be Squeaky (the tree) with the different character it has each year:
It was windy when we got to Haiyaha and we could see drifting snow further up the canyon:
One good thing about the lack of snow this season is that at lot more ice is exposed to look at on the lake:
Frank decided to ski in the snow along the edge of the lake:
He liked it so much that he got down to have a close look at it:
I was up on Dec. 24th and it looked like our tracks were still stuck to the ice:
We worked pretty hard but had a home to return to before heading back down:
