Sleeping and trench arrangement

When sleeping one person in the seven foot igloo, the door trench is dug in only far enough to gain entrance to the igloo easily but still leave enough room for the person to sleep broadways to the door. A little trench is dug off to the side of the door pit and the person sits with their feet in the short trench and off to the side of the door. This ends up with a person sitting there and staring at the wall in front of their face.
When extending the upper pole and building a 7'10" igloo, it is possible to sleep two people if the door is dug in just enough to gain easy access and then a short trench to each side of the door pit. This ends up with both people sleeping broadways to the door and staring at the wall when sitting up. The person sleeping in the back of the igloo will also need to climb over the person sleeping close to the door when exiting the igloo.
Or, snow can be added to the outside of the 7'10" igloo and the inside of the walls notched to make enough room, with a narrow trench dug across the igloo, for one person to sleep on each side of the trench.
When sleeping three in the eight foot igloo, the door pit is dug in far enough to gain access into the igloo and all three people sleep abreast across the igloo. This makes it hard to get down into or up and out of the door pit and there is also no trench to hang your feet into.
If a trench is dug across the igloo, two people can sleep in the eight foot igloo with one person sleeping on each side of the trench.
When sleeping four in the nine foot igloo, the door pit is dug in far enough to gain access to the igloo and three people sleep abreast with the fourth person sleeping across the back of the igloo away from the door pit. If a trench is dug across the igloo, one person can sleep on each side of the trench and one person across the back of the igloo.
When sleeping five in the ten foot igloo, four people sleep abreast and one across the back of the igloo. When a trench is dug across the ten foot igloo, the trench is dug off center and across the igloo leaving enough room for one person to sleep along one side of the trench and two people on the other side of the trench while the fourth person sleeps across the back of the igloo.
When sleeping six in the eleven foot igloo, the door pit is once again dug in far enough to gain access and five people sleep abreast with one across the back of the igloo. When a trench is dug across the igloo, two people sleep on each side of the trench and a fifth person sleeps across the back of the igloo
