Intelligent design. High quality materials. Impeccable construction. Superior value.

Two members of our 8-person group rented the Expedition Pulk from Piragis Northwoods Company out of Ely, MN for a winter camping trip in first weeks of 2020.

The rest used a mix of toboggins, homemade, and smaller rentals.

The two of us who used the Expedition hauled more weight/volume and had less issues than anyone else. The poles are heavy duty and supported our somewhat overloaded sleds (we looped the strap down system to secure additional gear after filling the zipped area). Neither of us tipped our sleds on any of the off-camber trail which scattered a couple others in our team.

A premium product which delivered an exceptional experience.

I have a Lake Tahoe ski cabin up a remote forest service road that is not plowed in the winter, we have two pulks for lugging stuff up the road like furniture, firewood, and building materials. I prefer the expedition over the snowclipper for its fiberglass construction, larger payload and the way the compression straps are attached. Both are rugged and great quality. these guys really know their stuff
